Hi – I’m Dan! 

Over 12 years ago, after graduating from University with my BA, I set off to work at the Banff Springs Hotel for just one summer. But – like so many people in our area – one summer here turned into a lifelong adventure that is still going strong! 

My journey here has given me my amazing wife, two beautiful sons, lovely dog, and a community of local friends, family and clients. I love life in Alberta and my hobbies include triathlon, cycling, running, hiking and snowboarding. When I’m not outside tackling adventures, you can find me with my kids, working on home renovations, reading for hours, or parsing through investment materials.

I have an extensive professional background in luxury corporate sales and marketing, as well as a foundation in polished service. My career path took me through various roles at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, culminating in my position as a Regional Group Sales Manager for Fairmont’s iconic mountain hotels – selling the Banff Springs, Chateau Lake Louise, Jasper Park Lodge, and Chateau Whistler. Understanding the needs of high-end clients and showcasing incredible properties (in an unforgettable landscape) is exactly what I do best.

I’m licensed and registered by the Real Estate Council of Alberta as an Associate Real Estate Broker – the highest licensing level that can be achieved – and professional REALTOR® here in Alberta’s Bow Valley. I am a member of the Canmore Real Estate Brokers Group, Calgary Real Estate Board, Alberta Real Estate Association, and Canadian Real Estate Association. My licensing allows me to trade in all sectors: residential, commercial, rural and property management. I’m proud to work with clients in Canmore, Cochrane, Banff, Bragg Creek, Bearspaw, Calgary & surrounding areas.

I’ve completed nearly $100M in transactions in our area, helping hundreds of clients get exactly what they want out of their purchase or sale. I rank consistently in the top 10 agents at my large brokerage, comprising over 160 agents across 4 offices. I have received the Royal LePage Diamond and Director’s Platinum awards, and have been recognized with the National Top 10% award. I’ve been interviewed by the New York Times as well as The Globe and Mail.

Accolades aside, my focus is always on serving my clients – who tend to be families, investors, as well as local Buyers and Sellers. I love talking to people, solving problems, and providing the best information I can to help clients make informed decisions. In fact – it can be hard to get me off the phone at times I love talking to people so much!
